Access confirmation

The site stores a browser-session flag after a visitor confirms the age and research-use requirements. It does not request a birth date.

Language preference

S7 first uses the visitor's browser language. If that language is not supported, the site may use an approximate country code supplied by its first-party hosting edge only to choose a default language. S7 does not store the visitor's IP address or precise location for this feature. A language selected by the visitor is saved only in that visitor's browser and takes priority on later visits.

Private, first-party analytics

After access is confirmed, S7 Sciences measures aggregate site use through its own first-party analytics system. S7 does not send these events to a third-party analytics provider. The system counts page views, approximate monthly unique browsers, and clicks on customer-facing product, vendor, promotion, comparison-cart, Fit Cop, international, and Amazon links.

A random browser token is created for the current Pacific calendar month and stored in local browser storage. S7 immediately converts that token to a one-way hash before storage in its private database. The raw token is never stored by S7. After a new Pacific calendar month begins, the first S7 analytics request in that month deletes older hashes from the live analytics tables. Limited database-recovery snapshots may temporarily retain prior database states for disaster recovery. Monthly aggregate totals are retained so S7 can compare historical traffic and click trends. Clearing site data resets the local token and may cause that browser to be counted again. One person using multiple browsers or devices may also be counted more than once.

Analytics records only the page path and, for outbound commerce clicks, the product, vendor, selected option when available, link placement, and general click purpose. It does not store IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, names, email addresses, referrers, URL query strings, affiliate identifiers, complete destination URLs, calculator inputs, comparison-cart contents, customer orders, or payment information. Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals disable this measurement.

Analytics results are available only through an owner-authorized, sign-in-protected S7 dashboard. Click totals show interest in a listing; they do not establish that an order, vendor attribution, or affiliate commission occurred.

Affiliate-link measurement

Vendor links include affiliate identifiers. The vendor and its affiliate platform may use cookies or similar technology to attribute visits, purchases, and commissions under their own privacy policies.

Separately from public-site analytics, S7 may retain vendor-supplied business summaries and customer-anonymous affiliate accounting records in its owner-only database. Those records can include the vendor, reporting period, native currency, order date, masked or transformed order reference, vendor-reported order total, commission amount and status, payout amount and status, and synchronization or import metadata. S7 does not use that ledger to store customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment details, complete order identifiers, dashboard passwords, or authentication data. Uploaded reports are used only to extract the permitted fields; the original file is not retained by S7.

Vendor transactions

If you visit or buy from a linked vendor, that vendor—not S7 Sciences—collects and processes account, contact, shipping, billing, payment, and complete order information. S7 may later receive the limited customer-anonymous affiliate accounting fields described above. Review the vendor's privacy notice before submitting personal information.

Current site features

The price index and calculator do not require an S7 account. S7 Sciences does not operate its own checkout or customer account database. Its private owner database separates aggregate public-site analytics from the limited vendor-supplied affiliate accounting records described above.
